Job summary

EY is seeking a Principal Architect for AI & Security to lead protection architecture across AI agents, copilots, and data products. You will drive strategy, target-state architecture, and security design decisions while aligning with enterprise Zero Trust and risk objectives.

You will partner with EY Fabric, engineering, product, data, and platform teams to embed AI protection into delivery processes and ensure scalable, secure solutions across cloud-native platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, AI, Data Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years in IT/cybersecurity, applications, data platforms, or AI platforms.
• 7+ years architecture experience, including enterprise-scale platforms and security capabilities.
• 5+ years in AI-related development including security architecture and protection.
• Experience leading architecture strategy, proof-of-value efforts, technology evaluations, or implementation planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI protection architecture for AI agents, copilots, automation platforms, GenAI applications, and data products.
• Act as a senior architecture lead for AI protection with independent strategy, target-state architecture, and security design decisions.
• Define and govern standards across GRC, risk management, business continuity, and cybersecurity platforms for consistency and scalability.
• Define secure-by-design, Zero Trust, identity, data protection, monitoring, and guardrail controls for AI platforms and agent ecosystems.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, control mapping, and risk assessments for AI-enabled solutions and data products.
• Partner with various EY teams to embed AI protection into delivery processes.
• Design and govern AI protection capabilities across Microsoft Security, Purview, Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, and related platforms.
