Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Principal, Product & AI Transformation in the Southeast. Lead conversations, shape product operating models, and guide AI-enabled product delivery across client engagements.

You’ll bridge strategy and execution, working with executives and delivery teams to drive measurable outcomes. The role emphasizes practical AI adoption, governance, and value realization, with travel across the region and flexibility in engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years across product management, strategy, operating models, digital transformation or consulting.
• Experience shaping strategy with executives and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of modern product management practices and roadmapping.
• Proven ability to design or improve Product Operating Models including governance and funding.
• Practical knowledge of AI and Generative AI in product lifecycles.
• Judgment to identify meaningful AI value and necessary changes across people, process, technology and data.
• Ability to move between strategy and hands-on delivery with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong consulting skills: facilitation, problem solving, storytelling and ambiguity management.

Responsibilities

• Lead product and AI transformation conversations with executives and clients.
• Shape modern Product Operating Models, governance, funding, planning and metrics.
• Bring AI into the product lifecycle across discovery to delivery and measurement.
• Evaluate AI use cases and data readiness to fit client environments.
• Translate transformation goals into roadmaps, pilots and implementation plans.
• Advise product leaders and teams to strengthen customer value and outcomes.
• Design and lead workshops and leadership alignment sessions.
• Assess barriers and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
• Support sales, proposals and reusable Modern Product assets.
• Build client capability with playbooks and enablement materials.
