Job summary

Coursera is seeking a Principal Product Manager, AI to define and drive the future of AI-powered learning. This strategic individual contributor role shapes Coursera's AI strategy and accelerates key AI initiatives to deliver measurable value at scale.

You will identify opportunities where advances in AI create value for learners, educators, institutions, and enterprise customers, and lead development of AI-powered products that improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications

10+ years of product management experience leading tech products.
Experience building AI-powered products with LLMs, AI agents, or intelligent automation.
Experience leading 0-to-1 product initiatives from concept to launch.
Experience owning product strategy in highly ambiguous, emerging, or rapidly evolving tech areas.
Experience developing experimentation frameworks and evaluation methodologies for AI products.
Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for AI-powered products, experiences, and platform capabilities.
Lead Coursera's highest-priority AI initiatives from concept through launch and scale.
Identify opportunities to apply AI to improve learners' content discovery and skill building.
Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Legal, and GTM teams to deliver AI solutions responsibly.
Define success metrics, experimentation frameworks, and evaluation methodologies for AI quality and impact.
Advise product and executive leadership on emerging AI technologies and trends.
