Job summary

Vouch is seeking a principal engineer to own and evolve the platform that governs agent-built software, ensuring architectural coherence across the backend estate. You will shape bounded contexts, anti-corruption layers, and CI/CD pipelines while guiding the organization in deploying reliable AI-driven insurance tooling.

Qualifications

• Shipped domain-driven design with bounded-context maps and anti-corruption layers.
• Experience enforcing architecture across multiple services and teams.
• Proficiency in modern language ecosystems (TypeScript, Python, Rust).
• Familiarity with Terraform, AWS, and GitOps for large-scale platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform that governs agent-built software with measurable outcomes.
• Turn design-docs into enforced architecture across services.
• Ship agentic systems with governance gates and clear boundaries.
• Develop eval suites, tracing, and observability for model behavior.
• Operate CI/CD pipelines and multi-account cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Partner with CTO on strategic design decisions and boundary placement.
