Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Hardware Scale-Out Architect to define the next generation of AI datacenter products. You will drive end-to-end architecture across accelerator cards, servers, racks, and multi-rack clusters.

The role requires deep expertise in Ethernet fabrics, RoCEv2, NICs/SuperNICs, PCIe/CXL, and telemetry, with strong collaboration across SoC, software, card, platform, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field with 8+ years of ASIC design/verification/validation experience.
• Master's degree with 7+ years or PhD with 6+ years of related work experience also accepted.
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet, InfiniBand, RoCEv2, RDMA and high-speed I/O interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Define next-generation scale-out network architectures for AI and cloud datacenters.
• Develop end-to-end system architecture spanning cards, servers, racks, and clusters.
• Lead Ethernet fabrics, NICs/SuperNICs, switch ASICs, and data movement optimization.
• Collaborate with software, SoC, card, platform and validation teams.
