Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Principal AI Data Architect to define enterprise data architecture for trusted, scalable AI products. You will connect diverse data sources to AI agents, ensure data quality, and enable secure access for GenAI workflows. Lead architecture reviews and establish standards across domains.

You will guide cloud service choices, drive multi-year roadmaps, and partner with product, engineering, and security teams to enforce governance and compliance in enterprise data systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or Information Systems or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, ML Ops or similar role with enterprise data systems.
• Experience leading complex technical decisions and establishing data governance, security, privacy, quality, lineage, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Enable AI and GenAI use cases with data ready for LLM/ML apps and secure data access for agents.
• Establish data trust, security, and responsible-AI controls including governance and policy enforcement.
• Lead technology decisions; evaluate cloud data services, AI platforms, and vendors; ROI-focused build-vs-buy assessments.
• Define target-state AI data architecture and multi-year roadmap; establish reference architectures and standards.
• Provide principal-level technical leadership; lead architecture reviews and cross-domain collaboration.
