Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer to drive AI-powered innovations within its Consumer Experience and Analytics group. You will help shape a cloud-native platform that powers personalized health experiences for hundreds of millions of users and collaborates across product, engineering, and platform teams.

You will lead architectural initiatives, mentor engineers, and ensure secure handling of PII/PHI while aligning with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

10+ years of Software Industry experience.
7+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale solution design and technical architecture initiatives across multiple value streams.
7+ years hands-on experience with Java, Python, Node.js, Angular, and ReactJS.
7+ years experience with relational and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
7+ years experience designing cloud-native, microservices-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
5+ years designing modern APIs and RESTful services.
5+ years experience with micro-services architecture and RESTful APIs.
5+ years experience with requirements analysis, estimation, and system design.

Responsibilities

Guide implementation of reference architecture solutions with strong user experiences.
Evaluate emerging technologies and lead POC initiatives.
Develop well-engineered, resilient solutions delivered on schedule.
Author technical guides and documentation for developers.
