Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Principal Product Developer to shape the technical direction of its products. You will drive architectural leadership, design scalable cloud-native solutions, and advance AI-enabled capabilities that boost functionality and workflow automation.

You will mentor senior engineers, collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams, and help establish engineering best practices to deliver business value and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with architecture and design.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale software and platforms.
• Strong knowledge of AI-enabled software development, AI service integration, and responsible AI.
• Experience building cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep knowledge of microservices, APIs, and event-driven patterns.
• CI/CD pipelines, DevOps/DevSecOps, and release automation experience.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, and test complex software systems and enterprise apps.
• Provide technical leadership for architecture, system design, quality, scalability, and security.
• Design and support AI-enabled capabilities that enhance product functionality and automation.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Security, and Engineering to meet release objectives.
• Review designs and guide engineering decisions across teams.
