Job summary

Verizon Corporate Security is hiring a Principal Automation Engineer: AI & Agentic Workflows to autonomously turn concepts into high-impact production software. The role emphasizes building AI toolchains, integrating diverse data sources, and deploying agentic workflows across the Kairos platform.

The candidate should have 5+ years building production software end-to-end, experience with LLM applications, and strong data/cloud skills, in a highly autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software end-to-end.
• Experience shipping Large Language Model (LLM) applications to end users.
• Strong SQL skills and cloud experience (GCP) with Looker or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build applications from specifications as a hands-on individual contributor.
• Build and operate the AI toolchain for the spec-to-build loop.
• Scale Automation Through Agentic Workflows on the Kairos platform.
• Integrate data from SQL Server, BigQuery/EDW, GCP services and Looker.
• Develop evaluation harnesses with shadow testing and metrics.
• Demonstrate and iterate features weekly to stakeholders.
