Job summary

Cresta invites a Principal Solutions Engineer, AI Agent, to join our team and drive the technical narrative across the sales cycle. You will lead workshops, define use cases, and validate API feasibility, partnering with Core SEs to accelerate opportunities and demonstrate ROI to executives.

You will work with enterprise clients to translate complex AI concepts into practical, value-driven solutions, leveraging your API and integration expertise and your ability to present a compelling business

Qualifications

5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, with 1–3 years in pre-sales to large enterprises.
Hands-on experience designing, building, or selling AI Agents or agentic AI systems.
Practical understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and how enterprise systems connect to AI Agent workflows.
Experience with Conversational AI, contact center platforms, or voice/chat automation technologies.
Ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Workshop facilitation and collaboration skills, able to present to a C-suite audience.
Highly organized and meticulous in preparation, capable of driving complex technical conversations to outcomes.
Exposure to Python for prototyping or demo customization is a plus.
Familiarity with Salesforce.com and enterprise contact center technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Be the AI Agent expert and primary technical credibility driver in early sales stages.
Collaborate with Core SEs, owning the AI Agent technical narrative.
Lead technical discovery workshops with prospects to map use cases and value.
Own use case and API discovery, evaluating integration needs and feasibility.
Support high-stakes AI Agent demos with Core SEs.
Engage early to shape AI Agent deals and define technical requirements.
Help translate AIAgent solutions into ROI with Sales Directors and SEs.
Collaborate with FDX for smooth handoff from pre-sale to deployment.
Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering based on opportunities.
Elevate the SE team's AI Agent fluency through enablement and coaching.
