Job summary

Workday seeks a Principal Product Manager who has shipped production AI agent systems and aims to scale to enterprise. You will own an agent from concept through GA, prototype solutions, run early adopter programs, and scale to Workday’s global customer base.

You will work hands-on with agent architectures, evaluation frameworks, and customer workflows daily, making sharp prioritization decisions across a fast-moving portfolio while navigating highly regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of product management experience.
• 5+ years in SaaS/B2B enterprise software.
• Direct experience shipping external, revenue generating AI forward product and/or agent systems.
• Deep technical acumen to evaluate agent architectures and tradeoffs.
• Strong communication across engineering, customers, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own an AI agent end-to-end, from identifying the opportunity through GA launch and beyond.
• Prototype and validate agent concepts rapidly using real customer workflows.
• Design production-quality agent systems with reliability and auditability.
• Run customer discovery and Early Adopter programs to validate value.
• Identify high ROI agent opportunities in finance and HCM with data.
• Define measurable value outcomes and evaluation frameworks.
• Collaborate with domain PMs to understand workflows and constraints.
• Communicate agent vision to executives and customers.
