Job summary

Workday is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead the development of AI agents for HR and Finance. You’ll build and mentor a senior engineering team, drive technical excellence, and deliver secure, scalable AI solutions integrated with the Workday ecosystem to enhance customer experiences.

You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists and architects to translate business needs into robust AI architectures while ensuring privacy, security, and compliance across enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering leadership, cloud-based systems and product-facing AI/ML apps.
• 10+ years of total professional experience in software design for enterprise-scale systems.
• 2+ years of leadership directing teams focused on LLMs, generative AI, or AI orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and mentor a team of AI agent engineers.
• Ensure timely project delivery to high standards for AI agents.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product managers and data scientists.
• Collaborate with architects to integrate with the Workday platform.
• Foster innovation, collaboration and continuous learning in the team.
• Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge AI tech (LLMs, RAG, orchestration).
• Collaborate with vendors and open-source communities for best technologies.
