Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced integration engineer to manage the interfaces between the launch vehicle and assembly, transport, launch, and recovery operations. You will lead subsystems packaging and ensure rigorous configuration management across the program.

The role requires a strong background in aerospace structures, 3-D CAD, and cross-functional leadership to enable safe, repeatable spaceflight and cost-effective missions at scale.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering and 10+ years in aircraft/spacecraft/launch vehicle structures.
• Configuration control experience from early trade studies to final design.
• Strong 3-D CAD design and visualization skills.
• Experience with scheduling and planning principles.
• Good judgment, flexibility, and relationship-building.
• US citizenship or eligible work status.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical integration and packaging of subsystems (structural, mechanical, fluids, avionics).
• Define/manage interfaces using IC documents and models.
• Coordinate configuration reviews and address program interfaces.
• Resolve integration issues between engineering teams.
• Lead cross-functional trade studies and manage changes.
• Provide technical assistance to integration/testing activities.
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Launch Vehicle End Item BOM.
• Ensure configuration supports design reviews and milestones.
