Job summary

Safran in Irvine is seeking a Principal Liaison Engineer to serve as the primary technical interface between SED and Boeing. You will coordinate activities across multiple SED product lines, support customer needs, and foster trust and collaboration with Boeing.

The role requires 15+ years in engineering, strong leadership, and expertise in MBSE, product development processes, and aerospace standards. Travel and on-site collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required; maser degree a plus.
• 15+ years of related experience in aerospace or defense engineering.
• Experience interfacing with customers and leading technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Act as onsite technical representative between SED and Boeing across product lines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to address customer inquiries and requirements.
• Lead reviews, problem solving, and information flow between customers and SED.
• Ensure adherence to standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Provide feedback for product improvement and process enhancements.
