The role covers 1st/2nd line support, API/FTP client connectivity, batch/system management, and ongoing improvements, including AI-driven optimizations. Strong SQL, Linux scripting, and posterior risk-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of application support in a banking environment (front office experience a major plus).
• Strong Prime Brokerage business knowledge, or willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with internal and external parties.
• Experience managing stakeholder expectations.
• Experience with AI tools in a banking environment.
• Strong SQL knowledge and Linux-based scripting/automation.
• Experience with job scheduling systems (Autosys).
• Experience in Windows Server environments; Java and Git are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prime Brokerage technology support for Equity Finance, Cash and Synthetics PB businesses.
• Production support for 1st and 2nd line across core PB systems; 24x5 follow-the-sun model.
• Handle user and client queries with detailed analysis of technical/business logic.
• Setup and manage client connectivity (API/FTP) to clients and vendors.
• Identify issues, drive improvements, and collaborate with development teams.
