Job summary

Nomura Holdings, Inc. in New York is seeking a Prime Finance Middle Office Analyst to support the Delta1 trading business within the Global Middle Office.

You will perform daily trade allocations, reconciliations, and respond to ad hoc client queries while coordinating with traders, client service, risk, and technology. The role emphasizes trade workflow control, onboarding new clients, and improving efficiency through projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Finance or related field.
• High level of proficiency with Excel.
• Understanding and interest in the finance industry.
• Great communication skills – you will interact with different levels within the business and support all assets of the business.
• Equity Swap knowledge.
• Fast learner and ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• High level of client service provided to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple issues and effectively prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

• Daily servicing of D1 & Prime clients.
• Daily trade allocations, trade/position/cash/PnL reconciliations.
• Answering ad hoc client queries and setting up new clients/accounts.
• Working closely with client service/D1 traders, equity index swap setups/lifecycle management.
• Dealing with queries from trading, client service, risk management, compliance, finance and operations.
• Work on projects to improve efficiency, trade flow and lower costs.
• Coordinate with technology/change management teams to implement enhancements to trading platforms and reconciliations/controls.
• Daily trade capture and verification of all trades
• Control of trade workflow including ownership of inter-system reconciliations.
