Job summary

ERock seeks a Prime Power Plant Manager to lead a large natural gas–powered microgrid’s on-site operations, maintenance, safety, and customer interface. This role owns site outcomes, sets standards, and ensures uptime, emissions targets, and workforce development across shifts.

The role emphasizes leadership of supervisors and technicians, disciplined maintenance execution, and community engagement, with a direct reporting line to the Prime Power Head.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years in power generation, industrial ops, utilities or mission-critical environments.
• 3–5 years leading supervisors/technicians in 24/7 ops.
• Strong knowledge of generators, controls, power distribution.
• Experience overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Experience using CMMS and run-hour based maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Own overall site performance including uptime, availability, production and emissions.
• Lead supervisors and on-site staff to deliver safe, high-quality execution.
• Drive preventive, corrective, and reliability-focused maintenance programs; reduce failures.
• Maintain maintenance records and site documentation.
• Ensure safety, regulatory and environmental compliance onsite.
• Interface with customer and local community to build trust and partnerships.
