Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC in Everett, WA seeks a paint technician to mix and apply paint per specifications, inspect post-paint results, and maintain booth equipment. You will review orders, ensure correct color and thickness, and follow safety protocols while meeting quality standards.

Expect to work with various surfaces and metals, manage daily checklists, and handle shift-related duties. This role requires high school level education and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match, prior to painting in the booth.
• Clean parts as per specification.
• Paint part according to specification and thickness.
• Observe safety regulations and wear protective PPE.
• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) (Required)

Compensation Range: $22.00 to $ 28.79 per hour (DOE) +shift differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift.

Job Summary:

• Must be able to mix and measure paint per specifications.
• Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match, prior to painting in the booth.
• Clean parts as per specification.
• Paint part according to specification and thickness.
• Keep paint booth filters changed, booth FOD free, and complete paperwork.
• Post paint inspection of parts for appearance and proper coverage.
• Able to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals.
• Applied some advanced skills that allow employees to adapt and meet some complex or non-routine situations.
• Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations.
• Complete the paint daily checklist.
• Properly utilizes all PPE requires under OSA Guidelines.
• Maintains all paint equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
