Job summary

Confidential Recruiting Partners seeks an experienced Project Controls Analyst to lead planning, development, and maintenance of schedules for large-scale capital construction projects. You will work with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate schedules and timely forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong Primavera P6 expertise and a track record supporting infrastructure, energy, or construction projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to review and analyze contractor schedules and progress updates.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and updating complex project schedules.
• Experience with schedule forecasting, baseline management, and variance analysis.
• Experience with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project planning methodologies.
• 5+ years of project scheduling or project controls experience supporting capital construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform CPM analysis and identify schedule risks.
• Support project controls processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Create and manage project baseline schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor schedule performance, progress updates, and forecast completion dates.
• Develop mitigation and recovery plans with project stakeholders.
• Communicate schedule status, risks, delays, and recovery strategies to leadership.
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors to ensure schedule alignment and compliance.
• Analyze schedule variances and evaluate impact of delays on milestones.
• Support planning through Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and schedule logic.
• Review contractor baseline schedules and ongoing updates for accuracy.
