Job summary

Valor Contracting is seeking a Construction Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and analyze comprehensive project schedules for commercial construction. This in-office role supports project teams with schedule forecasting, risk analysis, and progress tracking to drive on‑time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Construction Management (or related field), 3+ years of CPM scheduling experience, and advanced Primavera P6 skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years of scheduling experience in commercial construction.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Experience developing and maintaining CPM schedules for large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of resource loading, earned value concepts, schedule forecasting, and delay analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Create baseline schedules for pre-construction and execution phases.
• Analyze progress and schedule performance against milestones and objectives.
• Identify critical path activities, constraints, and risks.
• Lead schedule review meetings with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules, milestone reports, and executive reporting packages.
• Perform schedule impact analyses for changes, delays, disruptions, and modifications.
• Support time-extension requests and schedule-related documentation.
• Develop recovery and acceleration plans when behind schedule.
