Responsibilities

• Lead Research Operations from planning to execution across the Duke Lemur Center.
• Coordinate and oversee research activities and timelines.
• Develop and improve processes to support research efficiency.
• Monitor research activities, timelines, and budget/invoicing.
• Foster collaboration among researchers, husbandry, veterinary, and admin teams.
• Ensure compliance with Duke policies, IACUC, USDA, and welfare standards.
• Lead and develop Research Technicians and staff.
• Support growth through data reporting, databases, and grant-related tasks.
• Assist with specimen collection, biobank activities, and sample inventories.
