Must Be Licensed in Michigan

This is a 100% remote position. PRN opportunities are available.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish positive rapport with clients
2. Diagnose and treat mental health disorders with compassion and integrity
3. Create and update individualized treatment plans
4. Conduct individual and family therapy
5. Develop therapeutic and experiential opportunities
6. Assess patient progress and coordinate necessary services
7. Conduct group therapy sessions
8. Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress
9. Follow safety protocols and maintain confidentiality
10. Communicate with outpatient providers for continuity of care
11. Participate in staff and treatment team meetings

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
2. Full license to practice independently in Michigan
3. At least 1 year of experience treating eating disorders
4. Empathic, genuine, self-aware, and competent
5. Proactive with sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills
6. Experience with DBT, ACT, CBT, family therapy, mindfulness, or related modalities is desirable
7. Understanding of and sensitivity towards cultural diversity issues

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

1. Ability to remain stationary 75% of the time
2. Ability to operate a computer and navigate apps on a smartphone/tablet
3. Conduct telehealth visits professionally
4. Vision to see monitor and device screens
5. Work in a quiet, private space with minimal background noise

Pay Range: $75 - $100 per hour in Michigan (Grand Rapids, Detroit)
