Job description

*Seeking therapists with full independent licensure in Illinois State. Position is 100% remote, full-time (40 hours per week) — 24 hours of direct patient-facing hours and 16 administrative hours. Three evenings per week are required, along with daytime hours (Monday-Friday).

We provide the most comprehensive treatment program in the country for patients with eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions.

How you’ll serve our patients

As a Primary Therapist at ERC Pathlight, you will be part of a virtual team delivering face-to-face treatment, therapy sessions, and support via our HIPAA-compliant Telebehavioral Health Platform nationwide.

You will serve patients daily by:

  1. Conducting psychotherapy, including individual, group, and family therapy
  2. Performing comprehensive assessments and treatment planning for each patient:
    1. Complete biopsychosocial, self-harm, and suicide assessments
    2. Develop individualized treatment plans with specific and measurable goals in collaboration with the treatment team
    3. Create treatment agreements, support plans, or behavior plans as needed
  3. Completing clinical documentation for each patient on your caseload, including:
    1. Treatment plans
    2. Individual and family therapy progress notes and group notes
    3. Wellness and aftercare plans
    4. Discharge summaries
  4. Attending treatment team meetings and rounds to coordinate patient care with an interdisciplinary team
Primary Therapist II Must Haves:
  • Full independent clinical mental health license as required by the state
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in counseling or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a significant individual and/or family caseload with documented success in treating common diagnoses and comorbidities
  • Experience with individual and family therapy preferred
Primary Therapist III Must Haves:
  • At least 3 years post-licensure experience working with mood, anxiety, eating disorders, and/or trauma-related disorders
  • Experience supervising other clinicians
  • Experience managing complex cases with a significant caseload
