Job description

Seeking therapists with full independent licensure in Texas State. Position is 100% remote, full-time (40 hours per week) with 24 hours dedicated to direct patient care and 16 hours for administrative tasks. Three evenings per week and daytime hours (Monday to Friday) are required.

Role Responsibilities

The Virtual Primary Therapist II conducts individual and group therapy for adults, children, and adolescents, including family therapy. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, working with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring sessions are HIPAA-compliant via telehealth platforms. Therapists must maintain licensure for additional states as needed.

Daily tasks include:

• Conducting psychotherapy (individual, group, family)
• Completing clinical paperwork such as treatment plans, progress notes, aftercare, and discharge summaries
• Communicating with outpatient providers
• Performing assessments and creating individualized treatment plans
• Attending team meetings and providing guidance to less experienced staff

Qualifications

Primary Therapist II Must Haves:

• Full independent clinical license in Texas
• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience with successful caseload management in individual and family therapy
• Ability to adapt to different patient groups and ages with flexibility
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in telehealth technology

Primary Therapist III Must Haves:

• Minimum 3 years post-licensure experience with mood, anxiety, eating disorders, or trauma
• Experience supervising clinicians and managing complex cases
• Ability to shift between patient groups and ages easily
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Comfort with technology and telehealth platforms
