Teaching Personnel is partnering with a welcoming primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan to recruit a committed KS1 Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position. The role is full-time with a maternity cover contract, offering ongoing professional development and strong support from an education consultant.

Pay Rate: £172.98 per day

Contract Type: Full-time, Maternity Cover

Start Date: Following October Half Term

Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher looking to continue developing your teaching skills within a nurturing and supportive primary school setting?

Teaching Personnel is working alongside a welcoming primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan to recruit a committed KS1 Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while working within a supportive team environment that encourages professional growth.

The Position

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1.
• Plan and adapt creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Foster a positive and engaging classroom culture where children can thrive.
• Assess pupil progress and provide effective feedback to support development.
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure positive outcomes for pupils.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A genuine passion for supporting children within KS1.
• Confidence in managing a classroom and delivering engaging lessons.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A willingness to learn, develop, and contribute to the wider school community.
