Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd. is seeking a Primary School Supply Teacher to cover EYFS to KS2 across Haverhill and surrounding areas. Flexible short-term and longer-term placements are available immediately, with weekly PAYE salary and access to exclusive wellbeing services.

Duties as Primary School Supply Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum following provided plans
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners
• Assess and record pupil progress when required
• Communicate effectively with school staff and contribute to wider school life during longer-term placements

Ideal Primary School Supply Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Adaptable across various year groups and school environments
• Positive and professional approach to supporting pupil learning
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
