Job summary

Milk Education is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in Sunderland, South Tyneside, Gateshead, North Tyneside and Durham.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in a primary school or education setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and development.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Assist with phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Work closely with teachers and school staff.
