Job summary

Milk Education is seeking experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming Primary Schools. You will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide high-quality academic and social support that helps children thrive.

Responsibilities include delivering interventions, supporting EYFS to KS2, and assisting with lesson preparation. DBS update service and commitment to safeguarding are expected. Flexible hours and ongoing consultant support are offered.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or a related field.
• Have previous experience working within a primary school setting.
• Are confident supporting learning across the primary curriculum.
• Have experience delivering interventions and small group work.
• Are proactive, reliable and passionate about education.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Hold, or are willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
• Support pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
• Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
