Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care, a Humana Inc. company, is seeking a Primary Care Physician for our on-site clinic in Poinciana Park, FL.

You will report to the Associate Medical Director and work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, seeing about 15 patients daily. Responsibilities include longer 45-minute visits, coordinated chronic condition management, and collaboration with an integrated care team to deliver personalized care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certification or eligibility in Geriatric, Family, or Internal Medicine.
• Valid Florida medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Current, unrestricted DEA license.
• TB screening completed.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience.
• Experience managing a Medicare Advantage patient panel.
• Language proficiency assessment required for non-English speakers.
• ILR language test required per federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to patients in a CenterWell clinic in Poinciana Park, FL.
• See patients with longer 45-minute appointments when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate preventive and chronic care.
• Report to the Associate Medical Director.

Become a part of our caring community CenterWell Primary Care, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is looking for a primary care physician for our clinic in Poinciana Park, FL.

As a Primary Care Physician, you will report to the Associate Medical Director.

You will be on-site at the Poinciana clinic.

A day in the life of a CenterWell physician Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

See an average of 15 patients per day

Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes)

You will be on-site

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of Florida, or able to obtain one
• Current, unrestricted DEA license
• Screened for TB
• Minimum of two years of experience
• One or more years of experience managing a Medicare Advantage panel of patients
• Associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency
• Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$255,000 - $298,500 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
