Job summary

CenterWell Primary Care, a Humana subsidiary, is seeking a Primary Care Physician for the Poinciana Park, FL clinic. You will report to the Associate Medical Director and be on-site at the clinic.

Daily schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with an average of 15 patients per day and longer 45-minute appointments. This is a full-time, on-site role with a bonus incentive plan and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Valid, unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Current, unrestricted DEA license.
• TB screening completed.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience.
• Experience managing a Medicare Advantage panel of patients.
• Language proficiency assessment via ILR test provided by outside vendor.

Responsibilities

• On-site at the Poinciana clinic in Florida.
• See patients in a primary care setting; 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–5:00 pm).
• See an average of 15 patients per day.
• Provide longer, 45-minute appointments when needed.

As a Primary Care Physician, you will report to the Associate Medical Director. You will be on-site at the Poinciana clinic.

A day in the life of a CenterWell physician

• Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm


• See an average of 15 patients per day


• Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes)


• You will be on-site

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine


• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine


• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of Florida, or able to obtain one.


• Current, unrestricted DEA license


• Screened for TB


• Minimum of two years of experience


• One or more years of experience managing a Medicare Advantage panel of patients


• Associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$255,000 - $298,500 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
