West Aurora High School is seeking a PRIMARY LEAD TECHNICIAN to provide on-site IT support for staff and students. You will troubleshoot tickets and escalate issues while maintaining professional communication with users.

The role requires independent work, knowledge of Windows, MacOS and ChromeOS, plus LAN basics. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are preferred; some overtime or weekend work may be needed.

Formación

• Experience supporting end users in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate quickly under pressure.
• Experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred.
• Proficiency across Windows, MacOS, and ChromeOS environments.
• Willingness to work overtime and some weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to lift IT equipment up to 60 lbs.

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 06/30/2027

Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation is $50,000 - $60,000

Requirements:

• Interpersonal skills communicating with staff and students in a professional manner
• Self-motivated to seek out answers to trouble shoot tickets and known issues
• Ability to lift IT equipment up to 60lbs
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Windows operating system environment
• Knowledge of MacOS and iOS operating systems
• Knowledge of ChromeOS and Chromebook hardware
• Knowledge of Local Area Network
• Willingness to work overtime and sometimes weekends as required
• Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Experience in K-12 educational institutions, desired
