UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide essential nursing care under supervision of physicians and leadership. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, accurate documentation in electronic medical records, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires ADN with Texas RN licensure and BLS, with a preference for a BSN. The department supports professional growth and offers a comprehensive benefits package and on-site facilities.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with an ADN.
• RN licensure by Texas Board of Nursing Upon Hire.
• BLS certification Upon Hire.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers nursing interventions per medical plan and documents response.
• Schedules patient appointments, tests, and procedures and reinforces physician instructions.
• Provides patient education and records patient responses.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during exams and procedures.
• Maintains stock and oversees supplies for the work area.
• Supervises licensed practical nurses, non-licensed staff, and office personnel.
