Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program. Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• 1 year of RN experience (specialty areas may vary)
• Texas RN license (NLC/BNE) and BLS/ACLS as required by unit/agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient assessments.
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the health care team.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary plan of care and communicate with patients and families.
• Prioritize interventions based on assessments and changes in condition.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to hospital policies and standards.
• Provide education to patients and families and discharge planning.
• Assist in achieving quality/safety initiatives and performance improvement.
