Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with an ADN.
• RN licensure by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC upon hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing interventions per the medical plan of care.
• Schedule tests and procedures; reinforce physician instructions.
• Provide patient education and document responses.
• Ensure informed consents for research or treatment.
• Triages patient inquiries and document actions in the medical record.
• Supervise licensed vocational nurses and support staff.
• Proficient EMR documentation and clinical procedures.
• Participate in policy development and clinical activities.
