AdventHealth in Sebring, Florida, seeks an experienced Practice Administrator to lead multiple physician practices, oversee credentialing, staffing, and daily operations to deliver high-quality care while maintaining cost control.

The role requires supervisory experience, finance and coding knowledge, and excellent communication. You will drive revenue cycle management, budgeting, policy development, and staff engagement within a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a physician practice preferred.
• Billing and coding experience in a physician practice preferred.
• Patient care experience in a physician practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages offices in a cost-effective, efficient manner ensuring high quality care.
• Oversees start-up of new physician practices and assists with credentialing.
• Coordinates, monitors, and improves operations across practices including staffing and training.
• Handles hiring processes, evaluations, and employee coaching.
• Provides orientation for new staff and ensures policy compliance.
• Maintains job descriptions and evaluates staff performance.
• Assists in operating budgets and productivity standards.
• Supervises staff and ensures department coverage.
• Reviews policies for regulatory compliance.
• Develops and implements policies governing patient quality of life and care.
• Evaluates effectiveness of programs and processes affecting teamwork.
• Oversees revenue cycle management including billing and coding for clean claims.
