Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Physician (MD) to provide primary care at a VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The provider will work within a Patient Aligned Care Team to deliver comprehensive healthcare including chronic disease management and preventive services.

Eligible applicants are open until vacancies are filled, with periodic cut-offs for referrals and a comprehensive total rewards package offered by VA.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Doctor of Medicine degree from an approved school.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care as a PCP at a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).
• Operate in a team-based setting with a PCP, RN, LVN, and a Clerk.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage non-surgical adult patients across ages.
• Collaborate with other specialties to manage patient care.
