Job summary

Veterans Health Administration at the Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a primary care physician to deliver comprehensive care in a Community Based Outpatient Clinic setting. You will work within a patient-centered team to manage chronic diseases and preventive health.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken and written English as required for VA.
• MD degree from an approved school for the year of study.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Residency training approved by VA or equivalent.
• Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine or family practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services as a PCP at a VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners and other specialists within the VA system.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat non-surgical adult patients across ages.
• Assess, stabilize, and manage emergencies per medical staff policies.
