Job summary

Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in Virginia seeks a physician board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice to provide primary care to Veterans. The role includes evaluation, diagnosis, and management of complex medical conditions with oversight of the PACT team.

Qualifications

  • Must be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Preferred VA experience and primary care background.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with complex medical problems requiring clinical skill.
  • Provide complete diagnostic and therapeutic primary care services.
  • Document care in the medical record per center bylaws and guidelines.
  • Offer clinical oversight of the PACT team and ensure evidence-based care.
