Job summary

Carbon Health is seeking a Primary Care Physician in San Francisco, CA, offering a 2-3 day work week with no call, no weekends, and holidays off. You’ll deliver compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative team and leverage CarbyOS to streamline workflows.

You’ll lead a team of MAs/PC staff, supervise PAs/NPs, and focus on high-quality outcomes in an innovative, research-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with unrestricted DEA license.
• Licensed or eligible to practice in your state.
• Committed to patient-centered, relationship-driven care.
• Comfortable providing basic women’s health services.
• BLS certification required before first day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient-focused history and physical exams.
• Provide basic women’s health services including Pap smears.
• Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans.
• Care for adult patients (no pediatrics).
• Interpret x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
• Manage patient flow with Central Support assistance.
• Provide leadership for MA and support staff.
• Supervise PAs/NPs.
• Manage a patient panel with a focus on quality outcomes.

Your Role

As a Carbon Health Primary Care Physician, you’ll provide compassionate, patient-centered care while being part of a high-performing, collaborative team.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct patient-focused history and physical exams

About You

• Board-certified (MD/DO) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and unrestricted DEA licens e
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in your state
• Committed to patient-centered, relationship-driven care
• Comfortable providing basic women’s health services
• Passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and technology-driven care
• Skilled at fostering a positive, respectful team environment
• BLS certification is required and must be obtained before your first day with Carbon Health

Full Time Salary:

20 hours/week: $140,400-$196,080

30 hours/week: $210,600-$294,120

Carbon Health offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary and eligibility for additional incentive bonuses tied to wRVUs and quality performance metrics. Final offer amounts are determined based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, work history, and geographic location.
