Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Eureka, California is seeking a Physician - Primary Care to join our team. The PCP will provide comprehensive primary care in a team-based setting, caring for a panel of about 1,200 veterans alongside nurses, LVNs, and clerks.

Responsibilities include managing chronic diseases, preventive care, and collaboration with other specialties. The position offers a stable full-time schedule with telework allowed on an ad-hoc basis

Qualifications

• Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license in any US state or territory.
• Experience in primary care settings is typical for this role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation for non-surgical adult patients.
• Assess and manage emergent conditions following medical staff policy.
• Collaborate with mid-level providers and other specialties to co-manage patient health.
• Additional duties as assigned.
