Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care, a Humana subsidiary, seeks a Primary Care Physician for the Daytona, FL clinic. You will report to the Associate Medical Director and be onsite at the Palm Coast clinic, working Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with about 15 patients daily and 45-minute visits.

This full-time role offers a competitive pay range and eligibility for a bonus plan as part of Humana’s primary care organization.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine required.
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Valid, unrestricted license in Florida or ability to obtain one.
• Current, unrestricted DEA license.
• TB screening completed.
• Minimum of two+ years of experience.
• 1+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients.

As a Primary Care Physician, you will report to the Associate Medical Director. You will be onsite at the Palm Coast clinic.

A day in the life of a Conviva physician

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
• See an average of 15 patients per day
• Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes)
• You will be on-site

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of Florida, or able to obtain one.
• Current, unrestricted DEA license
• Screened for TB
• Minimum of two+ years of experience
• 1+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients
• Associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$255,000 - $298,500 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
