Rhode Island Primary Care Physician’s Corporation (RIPCPC) is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join a growing outpatient team. You will provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population with strong support from a collaborative care network and modern EMR tools.

The role emphasizes value-based care, patient‑centered outcomes, and a flexible, team‑driven environment within a fully outpatient setting in Rhode Island.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or related primary care specialty).
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN in Rhode Island.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• Rhode Island CSR or eligibility to obtain.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, value-based primary care.
• Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage broad range of primary care conditions; excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan.
• See 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and care teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
• Practice in collaboration with physicians in Rhode Island, including consultation and referral as appropriate.
• Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
• Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records.
• Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional).
• Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available).
• Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment.
