Job summary

Rhode Island Primary Care Physician’s Corporation (RIPCPC) is seeking a Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing, clinician-led medical group delivering high-quality, value-based care in an outpatient setting. You will work with a collaborative team while leveraging modern care models and technology to focus on patient care.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited PA program and NCCPA-certified, licensed or eligible to practice in RI, with DEA and CSR registrations or

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required.
• Licensed or eligible for Rhode Island PA licensure.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• Rhode Island CSR registration or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan.
• See approximately 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based principles.
• Collaborate with physicians and PAs to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
• Practice in collaboration with supervising physicians per Rhode Island regulations.
• Manage an assigned patient panel including preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
• Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records.
• Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope (optional).
• Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available).
