Job summary

Akido Labs seeks a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for its RIPC Medical Group in a fully outpatient setting in Rhode Island. You will provide comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan, seeing 16–20 per day, with strong support from a collaborative team and modern care models.

The role emphasizes value-based care, EMR documentation, and potential after-hours coverage. RI APRN licensure, DEA, CSR, and board certification are required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP/AGNP or related).
• Licensed or eligible for APRN licensure in Rhode Island.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility.
• Rhode Island CSR or eligibility to obtain.
• Commitment to patient-centered, value-based primary care.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a broad range of conditions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan.
• See 16–20 patients per day in outpatient setting.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and care teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
• Practice in collaboration with physicians per Rhode Island regulations, including referral as appropriate.
• Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
• Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records.
• Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional).
• Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available).
• Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment.
