Job summary

Mobile Medical is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to deliver in-home primary care across Villages, FL and Leesburg, FL. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, review medical histories, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient health in familiar home settings.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Adult/Family/Geriatric NP, Florida APRN license, National Board Certification, and a willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Adult/Family/Geriatric NP required.
• Current National Board Certification required.
• Active Florida APRN license required.
• Professional liability insurance preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive in-home medical evaluations and patient care.

Your Role as a Mobile Medical Nurse Practitioner:

As a Nurse Practitioner with Mobile Medical, you will provide in-home medical care and evaluations to patients, ensuring they receive the attention and treatment they need to improve their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and provide in-home patient care.
• Examine patients and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work and X-rays.
• Diagnose health conditions and recommend appropriate treatments for chronic and acute conditions.
• Prescribe medications and educate patients and their families on diseases, prevention, and overall health management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an Adult, Family, or Geriatric Nurse Practitioner program
• Current National Board Certification
• Active Florida APRN license
• Professional liability insurance
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in clinical settings such as a medical clinic, hospital, or ER.
• Expertise in primary, acute, and chronic care practices.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and evidence-based care practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients.
