Job summary

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification required prior to direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments suitable for the patient’s age and condition.
• Orders, obtains, and interprets diagnostic tests and documents results.
• Designs and documents treatment plans including medications based on results.
• Communicates care plan with providers, patients, and families.
• Provides health education and maintains patient safety and confidentiality.
