Job summary

University of Maryland Urgent Care, part of the University of Maryland Medical System, seeks an experienced NP/PA to lead urgent care services across the Eastern Shore region (Easton, Denton, Kent Island). You will work 12-hour clinical shifts, collaborate with MAs and radiologic techs, and deliver compassionate care for ages 1+.

Licensure in Maryland and DEA/CDS registration are required. Candidates with prior urgent care or emergency care experience are strongly preferred, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants in good standing with Maryland
• Active NPI number, DEA registration, and CDS license (or in process)
• Experience in urgent care/emergency/primary care preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality urgent care to patients 1 year and older
• Deliver care in a fast-paced 12-hour shift schedule (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
• Collaborate with medical assistants and radiologic technologists to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
