Job summary

Cedar Point Health in Montrose, Colorado is seeking a qualified NP or PA to join our Primary Care clinic. You will provide comprehensive health care to patients in collaboration with a physician and document care in the EHR.

Responsibilities include examinations, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, educating patients, and coordinating referrals. A current state license and completion of an approved NP or PA program are required; 1–2 years of clinical experience is

Qualifications

• Current State License is required.
• Knowledge of NP/PA roles and medical model.
• Experience with patient assessment, histories, physicals, and care planning.
• Ability to use medical equipment and perform procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians on complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Examinations, obtaining medical histories, and assessing health status.
• Document patient information and care in the EHR.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and treat illnesses.
• Instruct patients on medications, treatments, and preventive care.
• Coordinate referrals and consult with physicians as needed.
• Support Urgent Care facilities as needed.
