Job summary

Cedar Point Health is a physician-owned practice on the western slope of Colorado. We are looking for a qualified NP or PA to fill an available Primary Care position in Montrose. The role provides health care to patients within the clinic in collaboration with a physician.

We offer a competitive benefits package and a production bonus pay. The position is HRSA grant eligible and includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401k, CME, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Current State License required.
• Successful completion of an approved NP or PA program.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in primary care or similar setting.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations and obtain medical histories.
• Document patient information in the EHR.
• Order and interpret laboratories and diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Prescribe medications and treat illnesses.
• Educate patients about conditions, medications, and preventative care.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists.
• May support Urgent Care facilities as needed.
