Qualifications

• Current State NP/PA license.
• Successful completion of approved NP or accredited PA program.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs examinations, obtains medical histories, and assesses health status.
• Documents patient information in the EHR.
• Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Prescribes medications and treats illnesses.
• Instructs patients/families regarding medications and treatments and provides education on conditions.
• Coordinates referrals to specialties as needed.
• Consults with physicians on complex cases and maintains HIPAA compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
